BITSAT 2016 Application Form- Now Available:

The Birla Institute of Technology will be conducting the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2016) in May, 2016. Candidates will get admission into UG Engineering courses at BITS Pilani. In addition to the BITSAT Application form 2016, candidates should also apply for Admission into the Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani. Aspiring candidates should fill in the application form with 12th class marks and with the preferences for different degrees. The application form for admission will be available from 20th May to 30th June. BITSAT 2016 Application Form will be available online from 8th January 2016, and students should fill in the form along with the required application fee on time. BITSAT 2016 Registration Form includes four options that are Name, Gender, Date of Birth and E-mail ID. Registration is the very first step of filling up the application form of BITSAT 2016.

BITSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2016 is described in a proper manner as sometimes candidates apply without being eligible for the examination. A candidate will be considered eligible only if –

  • A candidate has passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English being the core subjects. The year for passing the examination can be either 2016 or 2015.
  • A candidate should score at least 75% (combined) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • A candidate cannot apply for the BITSAT examination if he/she is already a part of the BITS University.

BITSAT Online Registration 2016 starts from January 8, 2016. Candidates can apply for the application forms online by following these simple steps-

  1. Candidates should click on the option ‘Allow me to Apply Online’ at the bottom of the online application form of BITSAT 2016 which redirects to www.bitsadmission.com
  2. Registration will be done by entering Name, Gender, Date of Birth and E-mail ID.
  3. A unique application number will appear which has to be used for login.
  4. Last step includes filling up of details in the application form.

BITSAT Application Fee 2016:

BITSAT Application Form 2016 is available for Rs. 2,200 for male candidates whereas female candidates will be charged Rs. 1,700. Candidates coming from Dubai will be charged at a standard price that is US$50 OR Rs. 3100. The hall ticket for BITSAT 2016 Examination will be issued in between 20th April to 30th April. BITSAT 2016 Exam Date has been announced starting from 14th May to 28th May, 2016. The test centre will be allotted to respective candidates on 8th of March, 2016, and candidates can book the date and exam venue in between 21st March and 10th April. Last Date to apply for the BITSAT 2016 has been announced as 5th March, 2016.

BITSAT 2016 Exam Schedule:

BITSAT 2016 will be an online test conducted in a computerized manner, and the questions will be objective. Four subjects will be covered in the examination: Physics, Chemistry, General English and Maths/ Biology. Negative marking will be done for every wrong answer and 3 marks will be given for every correct answer. Candidates are requested to carry their admit cards to the examination hall as they will not be allowed to write the exam.
