GMAT Eligibility Criteria 2015-2016

Accepted worldwide, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer based test which is organized by the council of Graduate Management. If you’re one of those students who aspire to study management abroad, GMAT is the exam you must prepare for. Through GMAT, a person’s quantitative, verbal, reading, analytical, writing skills, in English, problem-solving, logical, and critical reasoning abilities are assessed. There are several countries that accept GMAT score and is acceptable by 2100 universities all across the world.

GMAT Eligibility Criteria 2015 and 2016

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has never officially announced eligibility criteria for GMAT. However there are certain things that are required, which are as follows:

  • Graduation must be done from a recognized board or university.
  • Candidate must have a good understanding of the English language.
  • The candidate should have an age of at least 18 years.
  • There is no upper age limit to appear for GMAT.

GMAT Fee Structure

The registration fee for GMAT is USD 250. Online payment of the fee can be done through debit/credit cards. Offline or payment for mailed forms can be done via check deposit.

The whole idea of pursuing management studies abroad is extremely costly. US universities charge an annual tuition fee of about USD 35,000. The total living expenses come out to about USD 10,000 annually. The tuition fee charged by UK universities is about GBP 20,000 per annum, whereas Canadian universities average about CAD 20,000 per annum. Fee structure varies with different countries and universities. But one should not give up yet. Education loan is provided by banks in India, and one can always pay back the loan.

GMAT Application Procedure

Candidates have to register themselves via filling a form which can be downloaded from the official GMAT website www.mba.com/global . For Indian students, the URL is www.mba.com/india .

According to GMAT application procedure, candidates are supposed to be submitting the following:

The resume must include an introduction of your skills, achievements at personal and professional levels, and work experiences very vividly.

  • Letters Of Recommendation

LORs are generally given by your superiors or professors. It gives an idea about want kind of impression you have made on the people around you. The most important part about selecting a recommender is to make sure that he/she knows a good deal of things about you.
