IIT JAM 2016 Admit Card- Important Dates:

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has been organizing the IIT JAM 2016. JAM Stands for Joint Admission Test for M.Sc., it is conducted for all the aspirants who wants to pursue Master in Science from IIT University. The IIT JAM 2016 has been scheduled for February 7, 2016. All the applicants are now eagerly waiting for the IIT JAM Admit Card 2016.

IIT JAM 2016 Admit Card

IIT JAM 2016 Hall Ticket will be uploaded on the official web portal i.e., jam.iitm.ac.in. Candidates will be able to download the JAM Hall ticket 2016 from December 31, 2015 till the examination date. It will contain all the important information that will be required to enter the examination hall. It will have your Name, Roll Number, Examination Venue, Time, Name of Exam, Codes of Subject, Signature, and Photograph. If there is any discrepancy found, you must contact the Organizing Chairman as soon as possible by Fax/ Phone/ Or E-Mail.

You should keep the copy of IIT JAM Hall ticket till the time of admission. As the college or admission committee may ask for the copy if they need for verification.

IIT JAM 2016 Exam Pattern:

The examination paper will be of 100 marks for 60 questions. JAM 2016 examination will be conducted for the seven test papers:

  1. Biological Sciences (BL),
  2. Biotechnology (BT),
  3. Chemistry (CY),
  4. Geology (GG),
  5. Mathematics (MA),
  6. Mathematical Statistics (MS) and
  7. Physics (PH).

The Question paper will be of Objective type with three different ways:

  1. Multiple Choice Question: -One choice is the correct answer.
  2. Multiple Selection Question: – There may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the four given choices.
  3. Numerical Answer Type: – The answer for each NAT is a signed real number.
