National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for those students who wants to take admission in National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai-Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basics Science (UM-DB CBS). Both NISER and UM-DM CBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy in 2007 by Government of India.

NEST 2016 Exam Review:

The NEST 2016 Exam was successfully conducted on 28th May at their different allotted centre. The Question paper is distributed in total five section and of equal marks.  The first section ask generic and that is common for all applicants. From the rest of four sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, applicants can opt to answer any three sections of their choice. The questions are aimed to check the comprehensive and analytical ability of the applicants. The wrong answers are awarded a negative marking.

The NEST 2016 primarily follow the CBSE class XI-XII syllabus. The total no. of Seats in NISER is 65 and CBS 22.
