PSTET Answer Key 2016: The news is for all those who have appeared for the Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test. The official answer key for the PSTET is expected to be published today. As per the media reports, the PSTET 2016 Answer Key is expected to be released anytime.

PSTET 2016 Answer Key

The Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test was conducted on 25th September 2016 by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Of Punjab. The exam was conducted to recruit the right candidates as a teacher in the state government schools. This year, the council received around 2 lakh applications for the exam.

A huge number of aspirants have appeared for the exam and now the appeared candidates are eagerly waiting for the concerned authorities to release the official Punjab TET Answer Key 2016. PSTET 2016 Exam Review and Paper Analysis

The PSTET Exam is divided into 2 papers i.e. Paper I is for candidates who intend to teach the class I to V and Paper II is for candidates who intend to teach class VI to VIII.

Both the papers of PSTET consist of 150 questions. The section-wise breakup of questions is here:

Paper I

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions
(ii) Language I – 30 questions
(iii) Language II – 30 questions
(iv) Mathematics – 30 questions
(v) Environmental Studies – 30 questions

Paper II

(i) Child Development and Pedagogy – 30 questions
(ii) Language I – 30 questions
(iii) Language II – 30 questions
(iv) (a) For Mathematics and Science Teacher – Mathematics and Science – 60 questions
(b) For Social Studies/Social Science – Social Science – 60 questions
(c) For any other teacher – either (a) or (b)

Both the papers consist of multiple choice questions where the candidate has to choose the right option. For each correct answer one mark will be awarded and for each wrong answer, no mark will be deducted. So, the negative marking is not there.

As per the media reports, the PSTET Answer Key 2016 will be available anytime now and the result is expected to be declared in the first week of October.
