The PU CET 2016 Application Form is now available for online registration on the site cetug.puchd.ac.in and the students interested to take this Common Entrance Test are required to submit the form within 28th April, 2016, for generating the bank challan. The online PU CET 2016 Registration can be easily completed by the aspirants sitting right at their homes.
As the process uses submission of money directly in the specified SBI account, hence students who do not own a credit/debit card can also make the payment easily at the selected SBI counters after taking a printout of the challan. The online registration process for the PU CET 2016 Application Form is not complicated but it involves a number of steps that needs to be completed separately in order to complete the whole registration process successfully. Hence the aspirants are hereby informed to check out line by line details about the registration process before initiating it.
PU CET 2016 Online registration deadlines
The PU CET is conducted every year by the Punjab University, Chandigarh for offering admission to the 12th standard qualified students to the various BHMS, Nursing and B.Sc. Honors programs under the university. The PU CET APplication Form 2016 needs to be filled online, and the students will not be provided with any hardcopy of the same. The portal for online registration of PU CET 2016 was activated from 18 March and will remain available till 5pm of 05 March, 2016. However, there are intermediate deadlines for completing particular stages of the application process.
Students who are interested to take the test but have not yet initiated the Punjab University CET 2016 Registration process are hereby informed that the last date for submission of information and generation of the bank challan is 28th April and the last date for the submission of the exam fee at the SBI counter is till 4pm, 30th April. Though still there is sufficient time, it is best suggested to not to wait for the last date to complete the registration process. After the submission of the PU CET 2016 Application Form and the exam fee at the SBI counter, students can upload their photographs, signature and rest of the information on the portal till 2nd of May, 2016. Requests for corrections in photograph, signature or any other information will not be entertained after 5pm of 5th May, 2016.
The basic PU CET 2016 Eligibility Criteria include the following,
• The applicant must have qualified or appeared for the 12th board exam from a recognized Indian education board.
• The student must have studied all of the three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in his/her 11th-12th standard.
• The age of the candidate should be at least 17 years as on 31st December, 2016.
• Candidates belonging from the reserved category need to present their caste certificate duly signed by proper authority.
The PU CET 2016 Exam Dates have been declared and the MCQ type test will be held on 22nd May 2016. The students looking forward to PU CET (PG) 2016 Admission are also hereby informed that the online registration process for the same has already started.
