Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2015 was conducted on 7th of April, 2016 and the candidates who appeared for the test are now eagerly waiting for the REET Result 2016. Usually the result for REET is announced within two months of the exam and hence the expected time of announcement of the REET Results 2016 is April-May, 2016. The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers is conducted by the Rajasthan board to certify the teachers eligible for teaching in the school level. The last time the exam was conducted was in 2011-12, and though again the notifications were out in 2013, the examination could not be conducted. This year, the examination was taken in two levels; while the level 1 was for determining the teaching eligibility of the candidates for class 1st to 5th, the level 2 was designed for testing the eligibility of the candidates for teaching students from Class 6th to 8th.
REET 2016 Results
As reported by the news media, this year more than 8 lakh candidates have appeared for the test and are waiting for the REET Result 2016. As declared, the answer keys for both the level 1 and level 2 were to be published before the REET Result 2016 comes out and as the answer keys have already been made available on the official site of the board, hence the results are also expected to come out soon.
REET 2016 Cut Off
The exact REET 2016 Cut Off will be announced along with the results and as the competition this year was quite steep, hence we can expect the cut off to go really high. It is expected that this year the students from the general category will need to obtain at least 60% marks, which means 90 out of 150 total marks, to qualify for the exam. The candidates belonging from the SC/ST category will need to score a minimum of 36% marks, i.e. 54 marks out of 150 total marks to clear the exam.
REET 2016 Merit List
The REET 2016 Meirt List will be published along with the REET Result 2016. The Rajasthan Board will also provide the students qualifying the REET 2016 with REET 2016 Score Card which will remain valid for the next 3 years. However, the students should note that the result, merit list or the score card all will be available online; and the students will be required to download all these documents from the online portal of the examination by providing their account details. No exact date for the declaration of the REET 2016 results has been announced yet, but it is expected to come out by the end of this month or latest by the middle of the next month.
