SBI PO Interview Result 2016: Here is the latest news from the State Bank of India. The SBI PO Interview Result 2016 is expected to be declared soon at the official site of the bank.

As per the latest media reports, the SBI PO Interview Final Result 2016 will be announced very soon and wait of all the candidates who have been anxiously waiting for the result to be announced will get over. The candidates will be able to check the SBI Interview Results 2016 once it is declared by the recruitment board of the State Bank of India.

The group discussion and interview was conducted on 1st September 2016 by the bank in order to select the right candidates for the post of probationary officers. The candidates who have qualified the written exam conducted on 31st July at the various centres were called for the next level of the selection procedure.

Earlier, the bank has released the recruitment notification PO (CRPD/PO/2016-17/02) and called for the applications of the eligible candidates to fill the 2,260 posts of probationary officers. The application process started on 4th May 2016 and ended on 24th May 2016.

Steps to check SBI PO Interview Result 2016:

  • Firstly, Login to the official website of the SBI
  • Click on the tab indicating ‘SBI PO Result 2016’
  • Fill the required credentials
  • Submit the required details by clicking on ‘Submit’ tab
  • Your SBI Result 2016 will appear on your screen.
  • Save the soft copy of the result and take print to use further.

The Final Selection

The candidates should note that the prelims exam marks will not be considered for the final selection. The final selection of the aspirants will be done on the basis of the total marks obtained in the mains exam, group discussion and the interview. So, the SBI PO Interview Result 2016 is the final step in the selection process.

The candidates will be required to qualify the mains exam as well as the Group Discussion and Interview separately. Marks acquired by candidates in the written exam (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and scores attained in group discussion & personal interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25.

Then, the final merit list will indicate the names of the candidates after aggregating the converted scores out of 100 for each category and candidates will be selected on the merit basis in each category.

There are 2,200 vacancies out of which 1,028 seats are for general category candidates, 590 seats for Other Backward Class (OBC), 351 seats for Scheduled Castes (SC), and 231 seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates.
