PhD in Structural Neurobiology – KU Leuven, Belgium
A PhD position is available for immediate start in the lab of Structural Biology at KU Leuven, Belgium. The student will work towards the understanding of the structural basis of ligand-gated ion channel function. The specific objective will be to understand the structural determinants of ligand recognition, and the mechanism of channel gating and ion selection and permeation. The project will include methods like X-Ray Crystallography, Cryo-EM, protein expression and purification studies.
