SSC CGL Tier 2 Cut Off Marks 2016: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted exam for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 2 on 30th November, 2016 to 2nd December 2016. The exam was conducted at 356 venues in 57 cities in 2 shifts where a total of 1, 20, 993 candidates appeared. This year, Tier 1 Exam was comparatively easy and had a cut off higher than the previous year. The Tier 2 was moderate-difficult hence the CGL Tier 2 Cut off Marks 2016 will be almost similar to the cut off marks of the previous year. The overall cut off to qualify for the Tier 3, 2016-17 would be higher as compared to the previous year.

SSC CGL Tier1 was a computer based preliminary test with objective questions on Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. A total of 200 questions were asked where each question carried 1 mark.
Tier 2 again was a computer based multiple choice questions from the Quantitative Ability and English Language & Comprehension. The test time for each section is 2 hours with a total of 100 questions carrying 200 marks in Quantitative Ability and 200 questions for 200 marks in English Language & Comprehension. The CGL Tier 2 Cut off Marks 2016 will be out of 400.
Tier 3 would be a post based exam and the selection would be based on the performance.

CGL Tier 2 Cut off Marks 2016 will almost be similar to the cut off marks of the previous year. The overall cut off would be higher as compared to the last year as the cut off for Tier 1 was high this year.

The projection is calculated by adding the cut off of tier 1 2016 to the cut off of tier 2 2015. The cut off for tier 2 2015 is kept same because the level difficulty for both the years is almost same and the pattern has not changed.
