SSC JE Admit Card 2016 Paper 1- Hall Ticket for All Regions

SSC JE Admit Card 2016: The SSC JE Paper is scheduled to be conducted on 11th December 2016 and it is expected that the SSC JE Admit Card 2016 i.e. SSC JE Paper 1 Admit Card 2016 will be made available around 2 weeks before the exam i.e. around last week of November 2016.

SSC JE Admit Card 2016- Paper 1:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be conducting SSC JE Exam 2016 to recruit right candidates for the post of Junior Engineer in numerous government departments. The candidates who will qualify the Paper I which is scheduled to be held on 11th December 2016 will be called for SSC Paper II the dates for which are still to be notified. The Staff Selection Commission will be releasing the SSC JE Paper 1 Admit Card 2016 for the paper I and then similarly for other stages. Candidates will be able to check the SSC JE Paper 1 Application Status 2016 from the official site.

All the candidates should note that we will be giving here the direct link to download the SSC JE 1 Admit Card 2016. In order to download the SSC JE Admit Card 2016, the candidates will need to enter the Registration ID and Date of Birth as per the records. It is the responsibility of the candidate to download the SSC JE Paper 1 Hall Ticket 2016 and take a printout to carry it on the day of examination. No admit card will be sent to any candidate via post or email. It is a must for the candidates to carry SSC JE Admit Card 2016 on the day of the examination, failing to which they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. In case, any candidate is not being able to download the admit card after the issue date from SSC site, the candidate should contact the regional office immediately.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC JE 2016 Exam

Educational Qualification:

  • Junior Engineer (Civil), CPWD– B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering (CE) from a recognized University.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical), CPWD– B.E. / B. Tech. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE) from a recognised University.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil), Department of Posts– B.E. / B. Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering (CE) from a recognised University.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical), Department of Posts– B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EE) from a recognised University.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil), MES– B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering (CE) OR 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised University and with 2 years’ work experience in civil engineering works.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), MES– B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University and with 2 years’ work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering works.
  • Junior Engineer (QS&C), MES– B.E. / B. Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil engineering from a recognised University/Institute OR Passed Intermediate examination in Building and Quantity Surveying (Sub Divisional-II) from the Institute of Surveyors (India).

Age Limit:

  • Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), Central Water Commission and CPWD – Not more than 32 years.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical), Department of Post and Junior Engineer (Surveying and Contract), MES – not less than 18 years and not more than 27 years.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), MES – Not more than 30 years.
  • The age relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to reserved categories according to the government rules.

Selection Procedure for SSC JE 2016

  • Written Exam (Paper 1) (Objective Type Questions) (200 marks)
  • Written Exam (Paper 2) (Descriptive Type) (300 marks)
  • Interview (100 marks)
