UPCPMT 2016 Syllabus and Exam Pattern:-
The Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (UP CPMT) 2016 is carried out every year by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) University for the selection of eligible candidates to be admitted in different programs at various medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh. Only candidates from Uttar Pradesh are eligible to appear in this exam. UPCPMT 2016 Study Material:-
Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya University (DDU), Kanpur, holds an examination for the entry of students into different medical colleges across the state for one of the following programs:
- MBBS
- BDS
- BAMS
- BHMS
- BUMS
It is a state level exam attended by undergraduate students, and can also be participated in by students who are not from the state, but have a State Domicile Certificate for Uttar Pradesh, which acts as a proof that the candidate has origin in this state.

UPCPMT 2016 Syllabus for Chemistry, Biology, Physics:-
The topics included in the Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (UP CPMT) will cover questions of different difficulty levels. The topics comprise of fundamental knowledge as well as high-level topics. These topics are generally covered in class XI and class XII in school. It is a common misconception among candidates that the class XII syllabus holds greater importance than that of class XI. This is, however, a false belief, and it should be made sure that both, class XI and class XII topics are studied with equal care. Taking the class XI topics lightly during preparation often has adverse effects on the candidates’ performance. The questions in the exam will have multiple choices of response. Precisely, it is seen that 60% of the questions in the exam are derived from the class XII syllabus, and 40% of the questions from the class XI syllabus. The exam will be based on the following subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Botany
- Zoology
A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam, comprising 50 questions from each of the above-mentioned subjects.
UPCPMT 2016 Exam Pattern
The examination will be held in a duration of 3 hours (180 minutes), and will be covering total 200 questions. The four sections of the test include four subjects, Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. Each section, therefore, will have 50 multiple-choice (objective) questions. The exam is available in both, Hindi and English, languages. Further details regarding the exam can be obtained from the official website of UP CPMT. The last exam was held on 24th May 2015, and is generally held in the last week of May.
