West Bengal Board 12th Result 2016- The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education was established by the Government of West Bengal under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Act 1975. It is an independent examining authority that conducts intermediate examinations. The Council conducts examination all over the state of West Bengal every year.
West Bengal Board 12th Result 2016:
West Bengal Board Result 2016 will be declared on May 16, 2016. The result, being declared will be available for downloading from the official website of WBCHSE – www.wbresults.nic.in or www.wbchse.nic.in. Students might also use the SMS method for downloading their results at 10 am on the 16 of May.
West Bengal Board Higher Secondary Result 2016 will be announced at 10 am on May 16, after which students can collect their mark-sheets and authorised relevant documents from their distribution camps. According to a WBCHSE press release, mark-sheets and documents are now available at the distribution camps on the day of declaration of result.” Students should collect their personal documents and mark-sheet on time for making their future application process easier.

- Enter your roll number and other required details
- Click enter
- Result will appear on the screen

Students can also check their result through SMS by following the below step –
- SMS WB12 and send it to 54242
- SMS WBL2 and send it to 58888 or 58888711 or 52070.
WBCHSE Class 12 Result 2016 is awaited by many students as they all are waiting to the result of their performance. Students who fail in the WB board examination can apply for a re-appear examination in the month of June/July. Last year, 6.62 lakh students had appeared for the WB board examination. Out of the total number, 82.3% students were able to clear the examination. The highest percentage scored last year was 99.2% by a student of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Narendrapur. Girls had performed better last year whereas boys scored a lesser percentage. Students can use SMS option too as it is more convenient and less time-consuming.
West Bengal Board 12th Result 2016 will be published via press conference that will be held at the Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor Vidayasagar Bhavan of the Council. It is scheduled on May 16th at 10:00 am. Students can also use the mobile application for downloading their result. WBCHSE Class 12 Result 2016 can be downloaded by registering on www.indiaresults.com. They will have to pre-register with their roll numbers and a mobile number. It is easier for students to log in with their pre-registered ids’ for downloading the result. West Bengal Board 12th Result 2016 will be available at 4 PM.
