STUDENT FACILITIES


The Mitchell Memorial Library Stores 2,124,341 Volumes And 70,331 Journals. The Library Is Located In The Centre Of The Campus And Is Home To The Congressional And Political Research Centre Which Provides Research Materials And Information. When It Comes To Student Participation, MSU Offers More Than 300 Student Organizations. Some Of The Famous Organizations Are Maroon VIP, Lambda Sigma, MSU Road Runners, The Black Student Alliance And The Arnold Air Society. International Organizations Include The Nepalese Student Association And ISA. MSU Has Its Own Local Radio Station Named WMSV And A Student Newspaper Named The Reflector. This Newspaper Was Featured In The List Of Top 10 College Newspapers In The Southern United States.


MSU Has Built 19 Fraternities And 13 Sororities To Support Greek Life And To Set Up A Greek System Within The University. Organizations Like The Alpha Gamma Rho, The Delta Chi, The Chi Omega, The Kappa Alpha And The Omega Psi Phi Are Included Under The Greek System. The Athletic Teams At MSU Are Known As Bulldogs. The Teams Compete In Division 1 Of The NCAA And The Western Spanision Of The 14-member Southeastern Conference(SEC). Successful Sports Played At MSU Include Baseball, Football And Basketball.
