University of the Sunshine Coast is a public university, established in the year 1994. It has an urban set up in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. This university was constructed by the Australian government for serving the nation?s growing population. It was the primary university with green fields in Australia. It is a non-profit organization. The university operates on the motto ?Five-Star Education, Five-Star Lifestyle?.
According to Australian Universities Rankings, this university was ranked nationally at #24 on ERA scale and at #3 on AEN scale. The Student Survey Satisfaction Rating conducted a survey at the campus and found that 93% for Business, 85% for Health, 91% for Arts and 84% for Science was the student satisfaction rating.
University of the Sunshine Coast is accredited by CPA Australia, Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and National ELT Accreditation Scheme Limited (NEAS). The university is affiliated to Universities Australia and Regional Universities Network.
The main campus of this university has 100 hectares of flora and fauna reserve. The buildings of the campus have won 30 awards for construction, planning and architecture. To minimise the use of non-renewable energies, the buildings have been designed for natural ventilation and passive lighting.
