Student Facilities

President's Award for Excellence in Student Leadership is given by the University of Calgary to five graduating students each year. Co-curricular activities are promoted with the help of Student Success Centre that was opened in the year 2009. Many programs and services are offered to the students to support personal and professional growth of the students.

Last Defence Lounge of UC is club for the students and the faculty and Den and Black Lounge is a campus bar which and is run by the Student’s Union. Empty Space arranges the live music events and can be attended for free.


UC campus has got facility to study and stay here and there are residences for more than 2000 students. Following halls are available for residence:
