Keele University was founded in 1949 as the University College of North Staffordshire and later it had achieved the University status by Royal Charter in 1962. It is a public research University located 3 miles away from the town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. It operates on the motto - ? Thanke God for All.? STUDENT FACILITIES

At the Keele University, the Keele University Students? Union regulates student activities. The library is open 24/7 during semester and seven days a week during vacations and provides online access to academic journals and 6,00,000 printed books. Other facilities available within the campus include bars, restaurant, shops, banks and a leisure centre. For sports, there are 35 different sports clubs including playing fields, eight tennis courts, gymnasium and state-of-the-art fitness centre. Not only elite athletes but also the beginners can participate in the sports activities.
