In an audit carried by QAA Institutional Audit, Southampton Solent University was awarded ?Confidence? for all four judgement areas in the year 2013. Focusing on student media, the university owns the following:

  • Sonar TV, affiliated to NaSTA (The National Student Television Association) and has been ranked at #3 in 40th NaSTA Awards for ?Best Broadcaster?.
  • Radio Sonar, a community radio station. It has been ranked at #3 for ?Best Chart Show? in SRA Awards 2014.
