It was the very first university in 1990 to introduce honours in Film, Television and Radio Studies and its Forensic Science degrees were accredited by Forensic Science and Criminology in year 2007.

Main campus of this Staffordshire is in Shelton and Staffordshire. Shelton?s campus is named Stoke-on-Trent which homes media production, design, journalism, arts, law, engineering, applied computing, business and sciences. Campus located in Stafford is named Beaconside Campus offering mental health, midwifery, computing courses, technology, music, film, 3D animation, media technology and sports technology. Staffordshire has its branch campus in Lichfield near Lichfield Railway station which is in partnership with Lichfield College and Tamworth, while other branch campus in Shrewsbury, Telford and Oswestry homes midwifery and nursing programs.
