The University of Greenwich is a British, London-based university. It was established in 1922 with the motto of "To learn, to do, to achieve.? It is affiliated with University Alliance.

It is the greenest university in the UK in 2012 as judged by The People & Planet Green League.

Nationally the university is ranked #66 by the QS, #107 by the Complete, #92 by The Guardian, #98 by the Times/Sunday Times and internationally the university is ranked 701 by the QS.

Campus

This university has three campuses, Greenwich Campus, and in Avery Hill Campus and Medway Campus.

Greenwich Campus is situated in the old Royal Naval College. The campus features with a large library at Stockwell Street which houses an extensive collection of books and journals, language labs and a 300-PC computing facility. Other facilities include specialist computer laboratories, Dreadnought center, a TV studio, editing suites and the Stephen Lawrence Gallery.

Avery Hill Campus is situated in Mansion Site. This campus includes computer laboratories, a library and a TV studio, as well as a sports and teaching center with a sports hall, 220-seat lecture theatre and clinical skills laboratories.

Medway Campus is situated on a former Royal Navy shorebase. It has laboratories, workshops, a computer-aided design studio, training dispensary, library, computers lab, study areas, teaching rooms, sports hall, bar, gym and outdoor tennis courts.
