Overview

University of the Pacific is first independent university situated in Stockton, California. It was established in July 10, 1851 in Santa Clara as California Wesleyan College. The university moved to Stockton in 1923. This university offers 80 major programs from eight professional schools. It has also a common goal to educate and prepare the students for tomorrow by world class education.

According to US news report the university ranked among the top 100 national universities in 2010.

Campus

The university has three major campuses in beautiful places. These campuses are home for approx 4,000 students and the Students enjoy the atmosphere of the campus because of the comfort level.

The Stockton campus is surrounded by many interesting things like rose garden, towers, trees, architectural columns; Hollywood has used these locations for man film shoots as it attracts many visitors and beautiful too. This campus has its own theatre, museum, fitness centre, night club, live theatrical performance, etc

There are two more campuses of this university these campuses are, Sacramento campus and San Francisco campus. The campuses offer degree programs. These campuses contain laboratory, administration and classrooms, etc

They also provide counselling and psychological services for the students, who are facing any problem like depression, adjustment issue etc, their therapist helps the students to develop their self confidence again and they also make them feel relax.  

Accommodation

More than 1,300 students are living in the residential halls. This university offers a good atmosphere where each student can learn and experience the different culture. They maintain the comfort level for students and provide them a happy and healthy living.
